About Me
Amy is an actor, singer, dancer, stage manager and production worker who divides her time between Haliburton and Toronto, Ontario. She began training as a dancer at age six, and at ten, branched out into musical theatre. As a teenager, Amy immersed herself in as many styles of theatre as she could muster, including Shakespeare, musical theatre, cabarets, TYA, physical and devised pieces, and contemporary and classical drama and comedy.
Upon graduating high school, she continued to act, becoming a regular performer at both KW Musical Productions and the Highlands Summer Festival, while also honing her dance, circus and music skills through private training.
In 2017, Amy was accepted into the prestigious George Brown Theatre School in Toronto, Ontario. At George Brown, Amy explored such varied roles as Mrs Van Buren in Intimate Apparel (dir. Tanisha Taitt), Joyce and Marlene in Top Girls (dir. Elizabeth Saunders), Rachel in Yichud (dir. Stewart Arnott) and Eurydice in Metamorphoses (dir. Jordan Pettle). She also continued performing at the Highlands Summer Festival throughout this time, and added stage management, marketing, and production to her collection of hats. Amy graduated in 2020.

Despite the current global pandemic, Amy has managed to stay busy since graduation. Throughout the spring of 2020, she played Grace Cooke in Click Bait, a multimedia, remotely filmed web series created by just theatre co, with financial support from the National Theatre School of Canada.
Although nobody knows for sure when and how traditional theatre will be able to return post-pandemic, Amy is currently scheduled to play the role of Gwendolen Fairfax in the Highlands Summer Festival's 2021 production of The Importance of Being Earnest.
When she is not performing, Amy can be found curled up on the couch doing custom embroidery work and snuggling with her cat, Allie.
